About William Jackson Fite Jr

While completing a degree in building construction at Auburn University, William Jackson Fite Jr. remained active with several social and academic organizations. He held leadership roles with the fraternity Kappa Alpha Order and presided over the organization his senior year. William Jackson Fite Jr. also joined the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen and served as a campus ambassador and representative.

Mr. Fite first gained experience in the industry as a construction laborer. He subsequently completed internships with the construction management firm Brasfield & Gorrie. As an intern, he spent 10 months studying the company’s processes and becoming familiar with routine project management tasks, including quantity takeoffs, submittals, and safety walks. He was offered a full-time position at Brasfield & Gorrie shortly after completing his degree program at Auburn.

As an assistant project manager, he helps oversee job site safety, schedule management, quality control, and conducts preconstruction services. Outside of work, he engages in physically intensive activities such as running, cycling, and skiing. He plans to participate in a half Ironman in the upcoming year.
